Our mission is to provide customers with quality painting and related contracting services while providing a safe workplace for our employees, safeguarding the environment and the public, and receiving a fair return on investment.
Long Painting Company opened for business in 1967, operating out of a small shop in Seattle. Under the leadership of the late Ty Long and his wife Anne, the company quickly outgrew the small shop. By 1970, operations expanded to a five and one-half acre complex in the South Park area of Seattle. In 1971, capabilities were expanded to encompass industrial sandblasting and a shop blasting and coating facility was developed. In 1976, Long Painting Company entered the marine painting field which action necessitated the development of special staff capabilities and the acquisition of custom-designed equipment.
We continue to grow by serving the Northwest United States as a union signatory commercial, industrial, and marine painting contractor.
