Individual Certifications
Several team members at Long Painting Company have completed the SSPC Coating Application Specialist (CAS) Program by demonstrating that they have the experience and training in all aspects of surface preparation and coating application of complex industrial and marine structures.
EPA Lead Safe Certified Firm
Our Company has been approved and certified by the EPA under the EPA’s CFR – Part 745 Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention in Certain Residential Structures. This certification allows our company to perform lead based paint activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities in the state of Washington. This certification was issued after an evaluation of Long Painting’s safety procedures and its past records of working on projects involving lead based paint. There are very few painting contractors in Washington with this certification and it is another testament to our goal of conducting operations in a manner that protects both its employees and the environment from the detrimental effects of lead.
US Green Building Council – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
Long Painting has been a part of numerous projects involved in the LEED Program for over 15 years. A number of our projects have achieved LEED Status of Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. We currently have a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) on staff.
