Long Painting Joins NFCA

Long Painting was recently approved by the National Contractors Fireproofing Association (NFCA) for membership. The NFCA provides education and accreditation for Fireproofing contractors that want to improve the quality and accuracy of installing Intumescent Fire Resistive Materials (IFRM). Long Painting is sending Dave Bielak to the NFCA Conference in March to take the Contractor Accreditation Program (CAP) for IFRM. The IFRM Accreditation program covers the details of the UL design procedures, code compliance procedures, beam substitution procedures,  thickness adjustment procedures, priming requirements, UL global design issues, NFCA applications and quality control standards and ASTM standards relevant to the industry. In addition to seeking this accreditation Long Painting is a recognized applicator of Isolatek International and is authorized to purchase and install CAFCO® products for sprayed fire protection, thermal insulation and acoustical control.
