Husky Stadium Renovation

It Took a Total Team Effort
When renovated Husky Stadium reopened in 2013, it was a true team victory. The project required over 40,000 man-hours yet was completed with an impeccable safety record. Crews worked overtime and on weekends to make sure, the job was done in time for the season.
The stadium presented several significant coating challenges. For instance, painting the backside of the 100-foot high North canopy had to be done by rigging together a suspended scaffold in a pulley-like system. The team had to build adequate containment to avoid paint from escaping into the surrounding environment and contended with wind gusts of up to 30 mph.
