We are proud to announce that our very own Rich Jendrick has received the 2015 Foreman of the Year Award from our President, John Fisher. Rich started his Long Painting career in 1983 as an Apprentice. Over the years, Rich worked his way up the ladder to become a Foreman who particularly enjoys running out of town projects. Rich is extremely valued at Long Painting Company due to his hard work and dedication to his projects. Here are a few recent projects Rich helped complete:
- Suncadia Lodge : This project was a complete exterior repaint over the course of a month in the summer of 2015. Rich started the project with snow on the ground and finished in the summer sun. (That’s Pacific Northwest weather for you!) The lodge was fully operational during the re-paint.
- Snoqualmie Schools: Rich oversaw the exterior re-painting of three schools located in Fall City, Snoqualmie, and North Bend, Washington over the summer of 2015.
- PDX52: Rich traveled up to Boardman to run interior painting of a Data Center. Temperatures ranged from six degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Bethel Central School District Food Service and Bus Maintenance Facility: This was a new project that required Rich’s expertise ranging from applying special wall coatings to coating structural steel and floors.
In his free time, Rich enjoys flying drones and remote cars as well as traveling (for Long Painting and otherwise). Rich has worked in several states for Long Painting including Washington, Hawaii (where he painted large resorts), Oregon, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Rich earns this esteemed award due to his enthusiasm and infectious spirit. To achieve “Foreman of the Year” status, all completed projects must be considered “5 Diamond Status,” which means they meet safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and profitability standards.
Thank you, Rich! We appreciate your experience, community connection, and knowledge. Congratulations!
