Apprentice to Foreman to Estimator – Mitchell Higgins

This spring, Mitchell Higgins was promoted to Estimator at the Long Painting Company office in Kent, Washington. Mitch has been in the commercial painting industry over seventeen years, he started at the age of fourteen by working with his father. His father owned his own painting business so Mitch had the opportunity to work from the bottom up. This allowed him to experience all aspects of the trade.

Mitch prides himself by leading by example, promoting a collaborative work environment and motivating those around him to complete projects on schedule and to the best of his ability. He is grateful to the people who have mentored him over the years. He finds it rewarding to pass on the knowledge he has gained.

In his personal time Mitch likes to explore the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Laura, and their two dogs. When he is not at the office, he can be found behind the grill cooking southern BBQ for friends and family.
